As the operator of a luxury floating hotel, the director of Island Escape knew exactly what his company needed for a purpose-built service tender.
This vessel is unique in many aspects, including its ability to be lifted via davits, on and off deck to its “mother ship” and allow passenger access via its bow ramp and swinging side door.
Essentially a large mono hull fitted with a centre helm station, it’s too easily to be confused by its basic appearance. Initially this vessel was to have been powered by smaller twin outboard’s, the owner changed tack and decided a larger displacement 4 stroke motor made more sense.
The result was a craft that gives a comfortable ride when full of passengers and their associated gear, and with outstanding performance when empty. A true utility vessel, providing a magnificent fishing platform thanks to its large open deck space, and a stable easily manoeuvred tender with the ability to deliver passengers to any chosen destination, complete with dry feet.
